Reunion movie
It’s finally happening, if our source is to be believed. The reunion movie of former sweethearts Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion is finally pushing through. It took awhile for the project to materialise because of (allegedly) demands coming from the actor’s side. Cuneta, who was initially against the project for personal reasons, has finally given her go ahead, and has agreed to lose weight for the yet untitled movie. Viva Films is bankrolling the project targeted for Valentine’s Day next year. Actress K.C. Concepcion is not going to star in the film, one of Cuneta’s conditions for agreeing to do the project.
Is she the one?
Beauty queen Janice Tugonon, the reigning Binibining Pilipinas-Universe title-holder, heaved a sigh of relief after she found out that organisers of the Miss Universe pageant had finally decided on staging the contest in Las Vegas. The beauty pageant is normally held around middle of the year, but this time, it will take place on December 2, according to Tugonon. Meanwhile the beauty queen has been preparing herself nicely for the pageant, and those who have seen her lately say she look transformed. Not too many people were happy in initially when she won the local pageant and the right to represent the Philippines in Miss Universe, But Tugonon has blossomed since then and has said that she’s ready for the biggest challenge of her life.
Saigon auditions
Many local celebs have reportedly shown great interest in joining the remake of the West End hit musical ‘Miss Saigon’, including Rachelle Ann Go and Karylle. The auditions for the remake of the musical was announced a few weeks back. Go is a qualified singer with a powerful voice, while Karylle, who may not be as great a singer as Go, has had training in theatre when she was a kid. Another celebrity, Julie Ann San Jose, is believed to be interested in the musical. She has a great advantage as she has a great voice and also has acting talent.
