Former Miss World contestant and actress Sarah Jane Dias has reason to smile this Valentine’s Day as she will be celebrating the release of her first single Forgot To Be Me, which comes out on Friday.
“My first ever single is coming out on February 13. It is actually a hashtag on Valentine’s Day because it’s kind of a sad song,” Dias said on Wednesday on the red carpet of the Femina Beauty Awards.
“I will be celebrating the release of my first single on February 14,” she added.
The song, composed by Dias, speaks of a heartbreak. Its video features Arunoday Singh, Sapna Bhavnani and VJ Bani, and it will premiere on MTV Indies on Thursday.
Dias is said to have been shy about her singing talent and refrained from getting on stage. It took her friends and well wishers from the industry a long time to convince her to go behind the microphone.
