Dubai Stand up comedian Russell Peters has done it again.
Within days of his Russell Peter Notorious World Tour on March 20 in Dubai selling out, 2,000 tickets for the second show on March 19 sold within eight minutes after they were put on sale at noon on Friday.
“We were very excited to be able to add a second date for Dubai,” said Tyler Mervyn, managing director, Live Nation Middle East, the organizers for the Dubai show. “It was clear that the fans wanted it and we were happy to be able to make it happen.”
The Abu Dhabi show to be held on March 22 also sold out on Thursday and it is no surprise that Flash Entertainment, the organizers in Abu Dhabi, have also added another show on March 23.
“Russell Peters has been setting attendance records wherever he’s going, whether it’s the UK, US, Sweden, India – all over the world,” said Mira Sadek of Flash Entertainment. “Our show on March 22 sold out within an hour, so we’ve added another one and expect it to sell out quickly too. I would advise all Russell Peters fans to avoid disappointment and hurry and buy them”.
Tickets are priced at Dh550, Dh450, Dh350 and Dh250 and can be purchased from http://thinkflash.ae
Peters will tour South Africa, Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Australia, New Zealand, Northern Europe, Canada and US with The Notorious World Tour.
His show will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre and at Flash Forum, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
