The songbird is coming to town, and she’s bringing something something extra.
Filipina singing sensation Regine Valasquez and her comedian/actor husband Ogie Alcasid will perform on March 27 at the Emirats Golf Club Dubai. Valasquez, often called Asian Songbird, is one of the higest-selling Filipina artists while singer-songwriter Alcasid is a well-loved actor and a judge on Pinoy Idol.
“Reaching out to our Filipino audience has been something that we have enjoyed in the past. There’s a large Tagalog-speaking diaspora here in Dubai and bringing major Pinoy entertainers like Regine and Ogie is an opportunity for this community to celebrate the biggest names from the Philippines,” says Lea Jastiva, senior event organiser, SundanceLive, the organisers. “This is an amazing line up of husband/wife duo and we are expecting standing ovations throughout.”
