Rapper Lil Wayne sued over alleged unpaid royalties

Producer Bangladesh, real name Shondrae Crawford, has said that he was owed $500,000 (Dh1.8 million) by Wayne's record label Cash Money — and he's adamant the only way he will get what he is reportedly owed is by taking legal action.
"Cash Money don't pay royalties. [Wayne's 2008 album] Tha Carter III [is] his biggest album probably because of A Milli. You have to sue these guys so that they pay up," contactmusic.com quoted Crawford as saying.
"All the money from album sales goes to Cash Money. I get cheques from Sony for Beyoncé, cheques from different labels for different artists, it just comes to you. You don't have to call them, sue them and all that junk. This is what you're owed," Crawford added.
Wayne, who is serving a year-long sentence, is also facing legal action from Pennsylvania-based rapper/musician Dirahn Gilliams over his track Lollipop.
