Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performed on Saturday night in Chicago, the same day his manager Chitresh Shrivastav died in a car crash in the US.
The singer, who is currently on tour in the US, was travelling in another car when the incident occurred.
An event organiser says Khan performed on Friday night in Detroit and went through with his Saturday night performance, reports AP.
Authorities say Shrivastav, of Mumbai, was killed and four others injured when their SUV flipped early Saturday morning, as they were travelling from Detroit for the show in Chicago.
Dubai-based event organiser Anita Shah, CEO of Ccyclops Communication, who worked closely with Shrivastav, expressed her sadness.
"Chitresh was my go-to person for bringing Rahat Fateh Ali Khan into Dubai. He was always a pleasure to work with. He was like family," she said.
