Quincy Jones to lead seminar on Michael Jackson's greatest hits at Dubai Music Week

Legendary music producer Quincy Jones, who’s worked closely with Michael Jackson among other artists, will lead a special seminar dedicated to the late King of Pop at the upcoming Dubai Music Week.
To be held on September 24 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the seminar will feature all the people who’ve worked with Jackson including Rod Temperton, credited with writing Thriller and Rock with You; Bruce Swedien, who recorded, mixed and assisted in producing the best-selling album in the world, Thriller; and Siedah Garrett, who co-wrote Man in the Mirror.
Garrett, who sang alongside Jackson on the tracks I Just Can’t Stop Loving You and Man in the Mirror, will also perform while Jackson impersonator CJ Holland, who’s been hand-picked by Jones, will take the stage for his own renditions of the pop star’s classic hits.
“Dubai Music Week is a revolutionary new concept, designed to bring industry talent, management and technology together from across the region,” said Jones, the chairman and co-founder of Global Gumbo Group (G3). “We have an exciting week-long programme that will set the stage for furthering the potential of the music industry in the region.”
From September 24 to 29, the event will also see exhibitions and forums along with performances by will.i.am, Timbaland and Selena Gomez. For a full schedule and ticket details, go to dubaimusicweek.com
