Academy Awards producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have run out of rehearsal space. Dressing rooms, too. And they just added more stars to their performance filled show.
They say the cast of "Chicago" will reunite at this year's Academy Awards.
The producers announced Monday that Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta Jones, Queen Latifah and Richard Gere will return to the stage where "Chicago" won best picture in 2003. Zadan and Meron also produced the film.
They demurred when asked if the musical cast would sing on the performance-filled show, set to include appearances by Barbra Streisand, Adele and Norah Jones.
"We can't talk about what they're going to do!" Zadan said.
The 85th annual Academy Awards will be presented Feb. 24 at the Dolby Theatre and broadcast live on ABC.
