Priyanka Chopra to perform in Chennai on New Year’s Eve

Actress is collaborating with percussionist Sivamani and DJ Dave Zobhaa for a high-energy performance at the Park Hyatt Hotel

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is also making waves as a singer, will stage a performance at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Chennai on the New Year’s Eve. “Energies will be at an all-time high,” said the desi girl.

Joining her in the celebration are percussionist Sivamani and DJ Dave Zobhaa. “New Year is about new beginnings and I’m excited to collaborate with Park Hyatt Chennai, Sivamani and DJ Dave Zobhaa for a perfect start to 2014,” Chopra said in a statement.

“As an entertainer, my aim is to create an experience that engages, excites and inspires the audience. We collectively will make this a night to remember,” she said.

This year, the actress was seen in the lead role in Zanjeer and Krrish 3. She also did some item numbers in movies such as Shootout At Wadala (Babli) and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (Ram Chahe Leela). Chopra also released her second international single Exotic, featuring rapper Pitbull, this year.
