Baywatch star and fervent social activist Pamela Anderson made her debut in Season 4 of Indian reality show Bigg Boss last night.
Canadian-born Anderson is the first American citizen to be invited to the show, India’s version of the hugely successful reality show Big Brother, which has a global franchise.
The actress, who became famous playing lifeguard C.J. Parker in Baywatch, has starred in a number of Hollywood films and TV series.
She made her entrance in a white sequined sari teamed with earrings, bangles and a bindi and said she was very excited to be in India.
“It’s my first visit so I hope I will be able to get some impressions of the country during my stay,” she said.
The housemates were quite excited to see Anderson, who will be a guest only for three days. “Ashmit Patel and Hrishant Goswami couldn’t believe who they saw and hugged each other,” said a source.
Bigg Boss 4 features contestants such as actors Ashmit Patel, Manoj Tiwari, Shweta Tiwari, Sara Khan, Sameer Soni, Dolly Bindra, model Hrishant Goswami, WWE wrestler The Great Khali and former bandit Seema Parihar. The show is hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan.
