With candyfloss pink and peppermint green the runaway faves of the night, Hollywood indulged their sweet tooth to the max, rocking delicious dessert toned dresses that guaranteed a sartorial sugar rush without dashing those weeks of pre-Oscar night dieting.
We were particularly sweet on Kate Mara’s beautiful marshmallow pink Jack Guisson Couture number, Maria Menounos’ sublime pistachio chiffon Maria Lucia Hohan gown and British TV presenter Louise Roe’s elegant pale pink Black Halo dress.
It looked like the stars of The Artist were all in on the ‘wear pastel colour’ memo, with Best Supporting Actress nominee Berenice Bejo stunning in mint green Elie Saab, Missi Pyle in an eco-friendly aqua design by Red Carpet Green Dress and Penelope Ann Miller resplendent in dusky pink Badgely Mischka.
