British film editor Mark Sanger will be present for the ‘What it Takes to Make a Blockbuster’ session at the 20th CABSAT conference, held in partnership with USA’s National Association of Broadcasters Show (NAB Show), at Dubai World Trade Centre, on March 12.

Sanger, who won the Oscar for best film editing for Gravity at the 86th Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, will be part of the two-day professional content management event, covering the latest trends, technologies and innovations in the global broadcasting and media market, under a governing theme: ‘Transforming Broadcasting in the Always Connected Digital World’.

Run in partnership with the USA’s National Association of Broadcasters Show (NAB Show), the event will see more than 900 brands from over 100 countries participating at DWTC. The keynote address will be delivered by Iranian-Canadian, Shahrzad Rafati, president of BroadbandTV Corp. Rafati will discuss the innovations and strategies which have established her company as one of the world’s largest entertainment networks on YouTube. Other speakers include Sam Nicholson, CEO, Stargate Studios; Sanjay Raina, general manager, FOX International Channels; David Sternberg, head of media, Manchester United FC, amongst others.
