Mars and Keri Hilson have been tapped to perform on the pre-game show at the players showcase February 20 in Los Angeles. The NBA said on Tuesday that Nick Cannon will host the festivities.
Mars is up for seven Grammys at Sunday's ceremony. The next day, he is expected to be in a court in Las Vegas pleading guilty to a felony cocaine charge that will be wiped from his record if he stays out of trouble for a year.
The singer, songwriter and producer is featured on the Grammy-nominated B.o.B song Nothin' on You. He co-wrote Cee Lo Green's Forget You and has his own hit with Just the Way You Are.
