For Naseeruddin Shah fans, January will prove to be fun. From January 16 to 18, Motley Production will host the Naseer Fest as part of Dubai Shopping Festival 2014.
The award-winning Bollywood actor, with his wife Ratna Pathak Shah, daughter Heeba and son Vivaan and Indian theatre actors Rajit Kapur, Faisal Rashid, Rakesh Chaturvedi, and Manoj and Seema Pahwa, will present three plays. Ismat Apa Ke Naam (Urdu), celebrates the writing of the ever glorious Ismat Chugtai, A Walk In The Woods (English), tells a story about the Indian-Pakistan relationship by Lee Blessing, which is also Ratna’s debut as director; and Katha Collage, a play that tells three stories and pays homage to two famous Indian writers Munshi Premchand and Kamtanath.
