OMG, did you see Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth step out together Thursday night?

Totes.

Cyrus joined her actor fiance at the Los Angeles premiere of his corporate thriller Paranoia at the DGA Theatre, neatly squashing ongoing rumours that the two were on the outs and totally outshining Hemsworth’s new film, which also stars Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman and Amber Heard.

The We Can’t Stop songstress, 20, let her dapper Aussie beau, 23, do the media rounds as she walked the red carpet in a tea-length, colour-blocked leather Proenza Schouler with a high neck and white Celine pumps, according to the New York Daily News. We haven’t seen Cyrus this covered up in a while ...

A healthy dose of being seen together never hurt anyone, though reports of the couple’s red-carpet behaviour varied from “stronger than ever” to “awkward,” perfectly reflecting the scope of media expertise on their relationship status.

News of The Last Song couple’s engagement broke in May of last year, when Hemsworth proposed with a 3.5-carat diamond set in gold, designed by Neil Lane in collaboration with the actor. Apparently, this is the first time since June 2012 that the couple have posed together on a red carpet, the Daily News said.

For some time in March of this year, Cyrus was photographed without her engagement ring, which prompted break-up rumours. Hemsworth’s brothers Chris (“Thor”) and Luke reportedly staged an intervention in May to end the romance for good, further adding fuel to the fire.

However, on Good Morning America last month, Cyrus was asked about her and her fiance’s relationship status, and the former Disney star replied: “I’m wearing a ring, so ...”

Well, that explains that.

Anyway, some are still looking for trouble in paradise, saying that the pair wasn’t acting as lovey-dovey at the premiere as they have in the past.

“Miley and Liam acted like they didn’t even know each other the entire night,” a source told US Weekly. “She was wearing her ring, but they acted as if they were strangers.”

Onlookers also said that the few kisses he gave his fiancee “were awkward and he didn’t seem into them.”

Hey, he’s working here!

Hemsworth reportedly avoided questions about his twerking wife-to-be, admitting that he keeps his personal life out of the public eye, especially on social media, given the darkness of the technology theme of his latest film.

“On Twitter, I don’t share anything personal. I try to keep as much of my personal life to myself. I don’t feel the need to go out and show the world what’s happening in my life every second,” he said. “I think it’s a good chance to connect with fans and give fans an inside look on films you do. I think it’s great for that kind of thing, but it’s very new to me.”

And for a scintillating peek into his mind, allow us to shed some light on his social media presence. He follows only 17 people (despite his more than 250,000 followers). They include Cyrus, the Dalai Lama, his brother Chris’ film franchises Thor and The Avengers, surfer Kelly Slater, a handful of charities, bands including Pink Floyd and the Zac Brown Band, and a few accounts related to his own projects The Hunger Games and Paranoia.

As for his tweets, they’re mainly project-related or promotional. No complaints or compliments about his love life are anywhere to be found.

Deep.

Hannah Montana alum Cyrus reportedly has made her upcoming album, Bangerz, her top priority.

“I put this record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything,” she recently told V magazine. “I’ve put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it.”

The likes of Big Sean, Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa and “big bro” Pharell Williams have worked on the album.

So after Bangerz drops, should that sound be followed up by wedding bells ringing?
