Pop legend Michael Jackson once talked about the presence of a secret society in the music industry and how it has a vice-like grip on the lives of stars, the music videos they produce and the lyrics they pen.

Some say this shadowy group is the Illuminati, a secret brotherhood which allegedly aims to form a new world order by inverting the teachings of the Catholic church.

So it’s probably not a coincidence to see Jay-Z flashing an inverted diamond, Lindsay Lohan sporting the Baphomet horns, or Kesha flaunting the Eye of Horus.

According to the conspiracy theory doing the rounds, all these global celebrities are supposedly part of the mysterious Illuminati cult.

From Madonna to Kanye West to Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry, the biggest names in the music industry are rumoured to have been sucked into its all-encompassing orbit, as manifested by the symbols they regularly flaunt on the stage and in their music videos.

Kesha has actually joked in an interview that she was “really the leader of the Illuminati”, while Jay-Z’s mentor Jaz-O went so far as to claim that his protégé has links to the secret society, according to Times Of India.
