Get ready to be bowled over by Madhuri Dixit and her dancing skills. tabloid! has learnt that the Gulaab Gang star could be performing her hit numbers at a gala dinner at Emirates Palace for the Indian Premier League (IPL) players in Abu Dhabi on April 15.
According to sources, Dixit will join Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone at the private star-studded gala before the first phase of IPL matches in the UAE kick off on April 16.
The glamorous trio will turn on their collective charm, just like their Access All Areas dance concert in Dubai last December.
“Shah Rukh Khan won’t perform on stage at the gala dinner but he will interact with the guests and invite them on stage for some impromptu song-dance entertainment. For that full-fledged performance, Madhuri Dixit has been confirmed,” said the source. While Dixit is the official performer of the night, Padukone, Khan’s co-star in his next drama Happy New Year, filmed largely in Dubai, will support him in his antics.
It’s no secret that Padukone and Khan share a great working relationship after serving up hits such as Om Shanti Om and their more recent blockbuster Chennai Express. Their camaraderie was on full display as they interacted with the local press on several occasions during the Happy New Year shoot in Dubai in September last year. Word has it that this pair is currently rehearsing to lay on the charm at the IPL 7 gala dinner.
