Luke and Frenchie bring Filipino soul to Dubai

Filipino R&B singer Luke Mejares and soul singing sensation Frenchie Dy will entertain fans in Dubai with a two-night show at the refurbished Chikka Grill at Marco Polo Hotel Thursday and Friday night.
The performances are billed Soul In Love.
"I am always glad to come and perform for my fellowmen here in Dubai and [the] Middle East. It's so gratifying to be able to perform for them and heal their longing of missing home.
"The audiences are always receptive of our music and they always support our performances. It's good to be back here," said Mejares.
Dy, the grand champion of the popular music show Star in a Million 2004 Search, performs alongside him. Exuberant, soulful and versatile, Dy has been winning audiences with her powerful voice and sense of humour.
"Dubai is such a lovely city," said Dy.
