Lady Gaga, Bullock named top artists in 2010
Time magazine names Lady Gaga, Sandra Bullock and Simon Cowell among the most influential artists of 2010
Acerbic talent show judge Simon Cowell, actress Sandra Bullock, singer Lady Gaga (above, right) and the pop star now known as Prince are among the most influential artists of 2010, according to Time magazine.
Talk show host and media magnate Oprah Winfrey was also included in the list, which was divided into four categories — leaders, thinkers, artists and heroes.
Actor Neil Patrick Harris, popularly known as "Doogie Howser, MD" for his childhood TV role, was recognised for his role in changing the public's perception of gay men.
Meanwhile, Glee star Lea Michele (above, left) also joined Time magazine's 100 most influential people issue.
The 23-year-old stars as the annoyingly ambitious Rachel Berry on the hit show, a role that garnered her a Best Actress nomination at the Golden Globes.
