Kavita Krishnamurthy to perform in Dubai

The award-winner will sing her popular songs and those of the Bollywood legends on February 8

One of Bollywood’s best singers Kavita Krishnamurthy, will take the stage in Dubai on February 8.

The award-winning singer of songs such as Aaj Main Upar, Nimbooda, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Dola Re, to name a few, has been singing from the tender age of nine and has given playback for actresses ranging from the legendary Nutan, Shabana Azmi and Sridevi to Kajol, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor.

Krishnamurthy will perform her popular songs and a tribute segment to the singing legends with whom she has worked with in Bollywood.

She received the Padmashree, the fourth highest civilian award in India, in 2005, and is the recipient of four Filmfare awards, the Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar Awards and the Best Singer of the Millennium at the Stardust Millennium 2000 awards.
