Here’s another chance for you to become a crorepati, and more — the fresh season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will soon be back, but the calls for participation in the popular game show have already been made available to viewers.
With megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the host, the show kicked off with the line ‘Iss manch se koi bhi khali haath nahi jaata (No one goes empty-handed from this platform)’.
Every night, a question will be posed to viewers and would-be participants can book their place in the hot seat by answering correctly.
This season, aspiring contestants have access to two new platforms to get on the show, either by using the official app or via SMS.
Additionally, viewers can also opt for registration through BSNL landlines or via the Idea IVRS code. Viewers can also log on to kbcsony.com to register.
Gaurav Seth, the channel’s senior vice-president and head (marketing), said: “This year we are attempting to bring the show closer to our viewers by engaging various mediums through which they can enhance their chance to be in the hot seat. We’re confident that once the season gets underway, it will strike a deep emotional chord with the entire country, like never before.”
The show is the Indian version of the internationally popular format Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
