Lock up your folding chairs: WWE stars John Cena and Dolph Ziggler are back in the UAE to smash some more heads in February’s WWE Live at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Sports City Tennis Stadium.
The wrestlers will be joined by Money in the Bank winner Seth Rollins, Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper, United States Champion Rusev and Dean Ambrose, among other stars (although organisers say the line-up is subject to change), at the three-day event from February 12-14 (how’s that for a Valentine’s Day date?).
Tickets for the matches go on sale on Wednesday, December 10, at 10am and are available in varying categories from Dh300-Dh2,000 from ticketmaster.ae.
Live WWE bouts have become a regular spectacle for UAE fans, with the last event in Abu Dhabi taking place in October 2013. The programmes also air on local channels on a daily basis.
“WWE is bringing our live events back to the UAE because our popularity with families and fans of all ages throughout the region continues to soar,” said Carlo Nohra, WWE’s vice-president and general manager in the Middle East.
