The Muscles from Brussels is in town. Yes, action hero Jean-Claude Van Damme is back in Dubai. And this time it's for something "big".
"I've been in the city many times. The first time I came here was about 10 years ago, by invitation from the Al Habtoor family. There was almost nothing here and I remember it being very, very hot," the actor tells tabloid!. "In fact, the present airport was not even completed then."
A martial artist, the actor is known for a host of action films such as Kickboxer (1989), Universal Soldier (1992) and his critically acclaimed JCVD (2008).
"I am here to holiday, maybe catch some Grand Prix action and also to meet business partners for launching something big very soon," he said. "We just got back from the waterpark, which was amazing."
Van Damme is currently producing, directing and acting in action film, The Eagle Path.
