Shah Rukh Khan and the team of Happy New Year appeared on the Amitabh Bachchan hosted reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati to promote the Diwali release.
The musical heist drama stars Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.
Bachchan shared on his blog pictures of the episode being filmed, which will be aired on Diwali.
“That has been the fun factor with the team of HNY on set of KBC Abhishek with me for the first time on the hot seat and the laughter and dance and excitement of an episode that comes on for Diwali,” Bachchan wrote in his blog.
The film, which was filmed in Dubai, will premiere in the city on October 22.
