Television shows are considered an important platform for film promotions. But the Bang Bang team has, reportedly, decided to not use it and has turned down an invitation to promote the Hrithik Roshan-starrer on Bigg Boss 8.

According to a source, the Bigg Boss team had, reportedly, proposed to promote the film during the launch of the reality show, but the Bang Bang team politely refused the offer.

“The Bang Bang team has decided not to promote their film on any TV shows as they feel they can’t recreate the scale of Bang Bang on any reality show,” said the source.

Directed by Siddarth Anand, Bang Bang also features Katrina Kaif and is slated to release in India an October 2.

Another source said that Roshan is following in the footsteps of Aamir Khan, who did not promote Dhoom 3 on any reality show.

“The highlight of Bang Bang is action sequences and Hrithik’s chemistry with Katrina. He is confident that it will draw the audience to the theatres,” said the source.

To be hosted by Salman Khan, the eighth season of Bigg Boss will go live on September 21 on Colors channel.

When contacted the channel, they refused to comment on it.
