Rani Mukherjee film Mardaani will premiere in Poland on January 19, 2015.
Kicking off in Warsaw, Krakow and Lodz, the movie will then be scaled out to the rest of the country with Polish subtitles, said a statement from the film’s production banner Yash Raj Films.
The Polish release is also special for the film as it was shot by a native of Poland, director of photography, Artur Zurawski.
The Pradeep Sarkar directorial features raw, unswerving and invincible Shivani Shivaji Roy, senior inspector at Mumbai police, played by Mukherjee.
The protagonist sets out to confront the mastermind behind a child-trafficking mafia that kidnaps and smuggles a teenage girl who is like a daughter to her. What follows is a cat-and-mouse game between an audacious police officer and a ruthless mafia kingpin.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film releases worldwide in August next year.
