Yash Raj Films’ upcoming production Dum Laga Ke Haisha, starring Ayushman Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar, will have a limited release.
Aditya Chopra, who is the presenter of the film, decided to give the movie a platform release, according to a release by Yash Raj Films. This means the film will release in a few cinemas with makers hoping it will grow by word of mouth.
This is Chopra’s maiden project as a presenter and director Maneesh Sharma has turned creative producer for the film.
“It was a clear decision for us to have a platform release for this film as we have fully believe that the content will be loved by the audiences. It is one of those films that will increase with strong word of mouth,” Sharma said in a statement.
Dum Laga Ke Haisha has been directed by Sharat Katariya and will hit theatres on February 27.
