Legendary actor Rishi Kapoor on Monday night celebrated his landmark 60th birthday in style at Dubai’s swanky Japanese restaurant Zuma.

According to sources, his birthday bash was an intimate family affair with his wife Neetu Singh, children Ranbir and Riddhima and his brothers by his side. A special menu filled with Kapoor Sr’s favourites, including miso marinated black cod and crispy fried squid, was served to the guests in a private dining area. The party reportedly went on until 2am.
While the majority of his family flew into Dubai exclusively for a night of revelry, nieces Kareena and Karishma, who were in Dubai the same day, missed out on the big bash.
The star of Heroine, Kareena cited a busy schedule and expressed disappointment at not being able to participate in the family get-together.
“Unfortunately, I may not be able to stay for the party,” she told tabloid!
“Madhur [Bhandarkar, Heroine director] and I are flying out tonight [Tuesday] and we have a round of promotions in India to begin soon after that.”
The Kapoors, who are staying at the Grand Hyatt, are slated to return to India on Tuesday evening.
