Dreamy-eyed The Fault In Our Stars actor Ansel Elgort unsurprisingly took the top male acting honour at the 16th Young Hollywood awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles, but his co-star Shailene Woodley couldn’t beat the Kick-Ass might of Chloe Grace Moretz in the actress category. The event, which will be screened in the US on Monday night, is voted for online by fans.

The pair’s on-screen chemistry did, however, win them Best On-Screen Couple.

Other winners who picked up gongs after walking a blue carpet included Nick Jonas (Coolest Crossover Artist); Dylan O’Brien and Danielle Brooks

(Breakthrough Actor and Actress); #SocialMediaSuperstar was Ashley Tisdale. The music categories confirmed what your radio has been telling you all summer: Hottest Music Artist is chart-topper Ed Sheeran; the top Breakout Music Artist is Sam Smith and the Song of the Summer is Fancy, by Iggy Azalea, featuring Charlie XCX (beating Problem, Azalea’s collaboration with Ariana Grande).
