Some of the biggest Hollywood stars turned up at the Carousel of Hope Ball on Saturday in Beverly Hills, California. The fundraiser was launched by Barbara Davis and her late husband and 20th Century Fox owner, Marvin Davis, in the 1970s, after their daughter Dana was diagnosed with diabetes. The event has helped raise more than $80 million (Dh293.9 million) to combat childhood diabetes.

Attendees of the night included music industry executive Clive Davis, Scandal actress Bellamy Young and Magic Johnson, who was honoured with the Brass Ring Award winner for his humanitarian work. Johnson attended with his wife Cookie and family, including son Earvin III Johnson, the reality star of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.

Other attendees included Kat Dennings, Mimi Rogers, George Hamilton, Raquel Welch, Kathy Griffin, Angelica Huston, Barry Manilow, Rod Stewart and wife Penny Lancaster.
