Rihanna will host her first Diamond Ball on December 11 to benefit her foundation that promotes education and arts globally.
Rihanna announced on November 6 that she would hold the black tie event at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills, California.
The Barbadian-born singer founded the Clara Lionel Foundation in 2012, named after her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite.
Says Rihanna: “There is truly nothing I’m more proud of and we’ve just gotten started.”
The Diamond Ball will host around 600 guests, including celebrities. Attendees will be announced at a later date.
Rihanna says the first annual event will be “elegant and inspirational”.
