Did you get lucky enough to see Pharrell in Abu Dhabi this weekend? If not, we’ve got some good news for you: the Happy star will be back in the UAE on December 31 as the headliner of a massive New Year’s Eve show, #DXBNYE, at Meydan in Dubai.

The show is due to be broadcast in over 100 countries.

Joining him at the 7pm-3am event will be an eclectic mix of musicians, including Fancy singer Charli XCX, rapper Busta Rhymes, and performer Sky Blu.

If it’s DJs you’re after, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Paul Oakenfold and Seb Fontaine will also hit the stage.

“We are super excited to host our huge New Year’s Eve party and global broadcast show in Dubai. Our guests can party with the biggest music stars in the world with an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa fireworks. Meydan is the perfect location, serviced with easy access roads from all areas of Dubai and 10,000 car park spaces,” Becky Artmonsky, of organisers ATW Live ME, said in a statement.

In the statement, Oakenfold said that “NYE is the ultimate gig for any DJ, and I can’t think of a better place to celebrate than Dubai. #DXBNYE, are you with me?”

Charli XCX added that she couldn’t wait for the “glitz and the glamour of Dubai on NYE. See you soon, angels!”

The show will be broadcast in 130 countries.
