Mad Men stars Christina Hendricks and John Slattery will be presenting a special award to the show’s creator and executive producer Matthew Weiner at the International Emmys Gala.
Weiner will receive the honorary International Emmy Founders Award at a ceremony at the Hilton New York on the night of November 24.
The presentation to Weiner will be the centrepiece of the awards ceremony, hosted by British comedian Matt Lucas.
A total of 40 nominees from 19 countries will be competing in 10 categories for International Emmys, established to honour excellence in TV programming outside the US.
Britain led with six nominations, including best actor and actress nods for Stephen Dillane and Olivia Colman for their roles in popular crime dramas.
Brazil had five nominations, while Argentina, Canada and Japan each had three.
