We told you she was coming. Now here’s the confirmation: Kim Kardashian will be spending her weekend in the UAE, first hosting a party on the closing night of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 23 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi. The next day, November 24, she will jet to Dubai to launch her seventh fragrance, Fleur Fatale, at the newly-opened Parfum Monde on Shaikh Zayed Road at 7pm, before heading to Japanese restaurant Toko, at Vida Downtown, at 10pm, to host a dinner party.
The party in Abu Dhabi is a pop-up club for VIP Room Dubai, which is hosting a three-night event in the Capital, starting on November 21. Interestingly, the line-up includes rappers Future and French Montana. The latter is the rumoured boyfriend of Kim’s younger sister Khloe. The pair have reportedly reunited after splitting in September.
In Dubai, fans will get a chance to dine and rub shoulders with Kim. While the Parfum Monde event is invite-only, fans willing to get a glimpse of the star will be allowed to assemble outside the store, close to the Oasis Centre mall. Otherwise, you can get close by reserving a table at Toko where a four-course set menu has been planned for Dh550 (not including drinks), and improve your chances of meeting the reality star in person.
“She is a real icon of our times, and we are really looking forward to welcoming her at Toko,” said Evgeny Kuzin, the owner of the restaurant and lounge. “We have decided to offer our clients access to the evening rather than closing it off as a private event.”
Roy C.J., the founder and chairman of Confident Group, the company behind Parfum Monde, added: “We are very excited about the launch of Parfum Monde. It also is a matter of great pride that we have the opportunity to host the launch of Hollywood celebrity Kim Kardashian West’s latest perfume at the opening of our showroom. We are honoured, excited and thrilled at the same time”.
The most famous Kardashian, also married to rapper Kanye West, is currently in Australia as part of, according to her, ‘a world tour’ to promote her seventh fragrance Fluer Fatale. She will then fly to India, where she will appear on the reality show Bigg Boss, the country’s version of the hit Big Brother series. The show is hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan.
“Namaste India, main Kim Kardashian aa rahi hoon India... Bigg Boss ke ghar mein [ I am coming to India and the Bigg Boss house soon],” said Kardashian in a statement.
On Sunday, she tweeted about her hectic itinerary:
“Just touched down in Australia!My perfume world tour begins for my new fragrance Fleur Fatale! Next stop India then Dubai! All in 1 week!”
The internet meme favourite caused an online backlash last week when her shoot for New York magazine Paper was released, showing her completely nude. While it quickly became a talking point, the mother-of-one was also accused of perpetuating impossible body images after some suggested the image had been heavily airbrushed.
That didn’t seem to bother the 34-year-old, who shared the pictures with her 21 million followers on Instagram along with the comment: “And they say I didn’t have a talent...try balancing a champagne glass on your a** LOL.”
