Ever since she refused even a drop of alcohol at an awards show, the rumour mill has been in overdrive.
And now, Keira Knightley has confirmed she is expecting her first baby.
The actress, 29, is thought to be three months pregnant. Speculation intensified on Sunday when she was seen avoiding alcohol at an awards show sponsored by champagne company Moet. Finally, her publicist confirmed the pregnancy to Elle magazine on Friday.
Knightley and her rock musician husband James Righton, 31, married 18 months ago and have settled down in a large house in north London. But it seems that she has no intention of letting motherhood interfere with her career.
She told Vogue last year: “Would I want to be a stay-at-home mother? No. On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at.”
