Iggy Azalea is all set to make the MTV Video Music Awards fancy. The Australian rapper will make her debut at the awards show on August 23 in California, MTV has announced.

As one of 2014’s breakout stars, Azalea has taken over the pop and hip-hop charts with hits such as Fancy featuring Charli XCX and Problems with Ariana Grande. After being nominated for the MTV Artist to Watch Award in 2013, she received seven nominations this year including the highly coveted Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Best Collaboration categories. She will be joined on the VMA stage by another MTV Artist to Watch alumni, Rita Ora, to perform her new single Black Widow, which is currently flying up the charts.

Other artists so far confirmed to perform include Beyonce, Usher, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer. Additional performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.

The MTV VMAs will be aired in the UAE on August 25 at 10.25pm.
