The world’s fifth best tennis player Caroline Wozniacki enjoyed an afternoon of sandboarding in Dubai as she took time off from her preparations for this year’s Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship to film a commercial.

Dressed in a white sleeveless dress, the Danish tennis player visited Dubai’s famous red sand dunes for a new experience with some exciting desert activities. It was a completely different setting from Wozniacki’s pre-tournament excursion last year when she spent an afternoon inside the world’s first indoor sub-zero Zip Line and meet penguins in one of the malls in the city.

Wozniacki confessed to feeling excited and nervous as it was her first time going sandboarding. Charming and bubbly as always, she was up for the challenge, nailing a picture-perfect run in her first try, although she did get a few tips from sandboarding professionals before the actual ride. After conquering the easier course and feeling a little more confident, Wozniacki moved to another dune that was taller and steeper. She wasn’t as successful as the first try, but she was all smiles either way.

She said it was her first time ever trying sandboarding. And it certainly didn’t look like it will be her last.
