Have you got the magic in you? Criss Angel certainly does, and the world-famous illusionist is coming to Dubai in November to show it off. On the 12, 13 and 14 of the month, he will debut his brand new 90-minute show Mindfreak Live at Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai.

“It’s been more than six years since I have performed live outside of Las Vegas, and I’m looking forward to debuting this spectacular and unique family show in the Middle East,” said Angel in a press release.

Mindfreak Live is inspired by Angel’s show of the same name, which earned him more time on primetime TV than any other magician. It will be the first ever live show to be held at Hamdan Sports Complex, which has 15,000 capacity.

Angel has repeatedly been named Magician of the Year by the International Magicians’ Society, as well as Magician of the Decade and Magician of the Century. He’s broken world records for quickest escape form a straightjacket, longest time submerged under water and the longest body suspension. He earned the Guinness world record for the most people to disappear during an illusion when he made 100 people vanish in 2010, as part of his Cirque de Soleil best-selling magic show, BeLIEve.

“To lure Criss Angel — the biggest name in magic — out of Las Vegas to perform, not only in Dubai, but to launch a completely new show with us is a real coup, and highlights the increasing global stature of the entertainment industry here in Dubai,” said Thomas Oveson, COO of Done Events.
