The party continued on Friday, the second night of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as the Yasalam programmes kicked off across town. DJ and producer Armin Van Buuren headlined the du Arena after-race concert with some of his biggest dance hits including This is What it Feels Like. The top DJ was supported by Dubai duo Hollaphonic.
Then, over at the beach, around 45,000 revellers gathered to be entertained by R&B superstar Miguel, who led the celebrations. He was followed by chart-topper Jason Derulo, Bollywood hip-hop singer Hard Kaur and Emirati star Ruwaida Al Mahrooqi.
On Saturday night, music’s man-of-the-moment Pharrell Williams takes the stage at the du Arena after-race concert while the Beats on the Beach performances will feature pop starlets Rita Ora and Tinashe along with Arab superstar Ragheb Alama and songstress Sabine for the final night of free music spectacular on the Corniche.
