Kristen Stewart
Heartbreak strategy: Gone into hiding
Said to have been reduced to a “bag of nerves” after Robert Pattinson started the publicity drive for new movie Cosmopolis, which has already seen the 26-year-old appear on talk shows The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and Good Morning America, Kristen Stewart is struggling to come to terms with the fact that the British actor has told her ‘It’s over!’
And after cancelling a string of appearances for her upcoming movie, On The Road, with pals saying she didn’t want to face her co-star – and Robert’s best friend – Tom Sturridge, Kristen has also pulled out of the comedy flick, Cali, and has already been replaced by Rum Diary star, Amber Heard.
“[I] can’t trust anyone,” Rob told Life & Style in what’s being seen as a direct message to Kristen. Adding of his stubborn side, “I’m quite hypersensitive. Sometimes it makes it easier to stand your ground if you’re sensitive.”
“Kristen wants a meeting with Rob,” spilled an insider. “So far he has resisted. His friends have told him he needs space to clear his head in order to be able to make as much of an unemotional decision as possible – but she’s pushing hard.”
