The Royal nuptials may have had the world sighing over Kate and Will's love, but Kate's induction into ‘the firm' left Chelsy Davy telling friends she won't marry Harry - leaving him devastated.

Pals have spilled Harry, 26, saw the wedding as the perfect time to sound out Chelsy, 25, about their future, but she told pals, "It's not a life for me."

Harry's ready to marry

"Over the last 12 months, we've seen a massive shift in Harry's character," Katie Nicholl, author of The Making of a Royal Romance said. "He's settled down a lot. He takes his military career seriously and has changed his lifestyle."

Having met Chelsy in 2004, the pair dated for six years before their September 2010 split. Getting back together in February, pals say Harry had hoped it would be for good.

The tables have turned'

"Harry wants to take things up a notch with her, and has asked her close friends to convince Chelsy that it's worth taking a chance," revealed an insider.

"He's been accused of having cheated on her in the past - which he's always denied - and her friends have told her to cut him loose. But now the tables have turned and Harry's serious about wanting her forever."

He told her 'You're next'

Sources at the royal wedding party revealed that Harry pulled Chelsy close and telling her, "You're next." And a party-goer told the Daily Mail newspaper, "They were all over each other."

But Chelsy has dashed Harry's plans to make their romance more official, with a friend spilling, "She told us, ‘There's no way we are getting married.'" Adding, "She wants her freedom and to start her career. That's her primary focus at the moment, not another Royal wedding."
