The battle for the title of Philippines' sexiest is shaping up to be a battle between two former winners — Marian Rivera and Angel Locsin.
The online poll conducted by the largest selling women's magazine in the Philippines initially had Rivera leading the contest, but Locsin surged ahead last week to grab the top post. Voting is still ongoing and another former winner, Cristine Reyes, is inching closer to the top spot.

In other news, Sarah Geronimo is scheduled to fly back to Manila from the US, where she had a series of shows.
She performed to a big crowd at the Philippine Independence Day ceremony in New York, but one of her shows in California apparently didn't do so well.
Tickets were allegedly sold on a buy-one-get-one-free basis just to fill the venue. Another artist whose show bombed in the US was Willie Revillame.
