Dubai: English footballer Wayne Rooney's 20-month-old son Kai and his mother Coleen Rooney are having quite a splash in Dubai. The pair was spotted at luxury hotel Atlantis The Palm on Sunday playing with dolphins at the Aquapark.
Coleen later posted a picture of them on her Twitter account, saying: "Kai is loving it!"
Dad Rooney, who is currently on a tour with Manchester United in the US, tweeted later: "I'm missing @ColeenRoo and Kai loads. Just over 2 weeks still until I see them."
Coleen, a television presenter and model, seems to be also enjoying herself out and about town singing praises of her countryman Gary Rhodes after dining at his Dubai restaurant at the Le Meridien Beach Resort and Spa.
"Had a lovely evening at Rhodes twenty 10 restaurant! Now time for bed....." she tweeted later on Sunday.
According to the UK's Daily Mail, the family flew to their holiday home in Barbados for a two-week holiday earlier in June. Then, four days after returning, the couple went to Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, outh West England. Three days later, they took Kai to St Tropez for a five-day break on a luxury yacht.
