Another artist making waves abroad is Steven Silva, winner of the 2009 edition of the talent search show Starstruck.
Though he won the competition, his career never took off as expected, largely in part to his inability to speak Tagalog fluently.
But the man will not be denied the opportunity to shine as his career is finally blossoming.
He was cast in the TV series, The Boston, which is produced and filmed in Singapore, where he plays the role of a chef.
The role is really up his alley as he has finished a course in culinary arts. With his new show, Silva gets the chance to showcase his talent for singing, dancing, acting and cooking.
