Korean pop superstar Sandara Park is back in town to do a series of guest appearances in local TV shows.
The K-pop star, who first rose to fame as a teen idol in the Philippines, will also be promoting her country as a tourist destination in a local travel fair.
Park took to Twitter to announce her return, and quickly trended on the micro-blogging site’s local edition. She has remained a well-loved star in the Philippines, despite becoming a bigger star in Korea, where she is now permanently based and continues to shine as a member of the popular all-girl pop group 2NE1.
