Erstwhile lovers Robin Padilla and Vina Morales will be working together in the biopic of Philippine national hero Andres Bonifacio. Morales announced she has replaced actress Iza Calzado, who wanted off the project because of her tight schedule. Morales will be Padilla’s leading lady in the film Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo (Bonifacio: The First President) about the life and love of the martyred hero. Morales made the announcement via her Instagram account (@vina_morales). Morales and Padilla last made a movie project in 1992, in the hit flick Utol Kong Hoodlum (My Brother’s a Hoodlum), when they were still a couple. She assured fans there will be no romantic link as Padilla is happily married to TV host Mariel Rodriguez.
