Filipino Primetime Heartthrobs will descend on Dubai for a concert on October 30 at The Indian High School.

Dubbed ‘Primetime Heartthrobs’, the show will be headlined by five top leading men regarded as among the most bankable stars of their generation: Gerald Anderson, Enchong Dee, Rayver Cruz, Xian Lim and Enrique Gil.

The show, at the school’s football ground, will also feature performances by Filipino local artists.

The Star Magic hunks have top-billed in many of ABS-CBN’s primetime television soap operas.

Anderson became a controversial figure when he ended his relationship with fellow former Pinoy Big Brother contestant Kim Chui in 2011 and then started a relationship with current girlfriend Maja Salvador — Chui’s best friend and also an ABS-CBN talent. Anderson will have an upcoming teleserye this year titled Nathaniel.

Dee recently grabbed the headlines when he revealed last month his current relationship with Filipino-British model Samantha Lewis during the Star Magic Ball. Dee has long been rumoured to be gay.

His popularity soared when he was paired with Erich Gonzales in different teleseryes and movies; the latest movie they did was Once A Princess.

Cruz is a popular actor-dancer. He was the talk of the town when he started a controversial relationship with sexy actress Christine Reyes. Cruz is currently a regular performer at ASAP XV, a Sunday afternoon variety show.

Lim, a Filipino-Chinese actor, soared in popularity when was paired with Kim Chui in My Binondo Girl in 2011. From then on, he has been constantly paired with Chui and the two are among the hottest tandems in the Philippine showbiz. The duo are currently filming Past Tense under Star Cinema, which will be out this year.

Cebuano actor Enrique Gil is famous for being a good dancer. He has been paired with sweethearts Julia Montes and Julia Barretto. Gil will star opposite Liza Soberano in an upcoming teleserye, Forevemore.

The showbiz heartthrobs, who formed a group called Teleserye Bida in 2010, have done sold-out shows in more than 15 cities in the US and Canada. In October 2012, the group set a record of bringing in over 10,000 people in a Las Vegas Filipino Festival. The group’s October 2013 Canadian tour in also set records for Filipino events.
