The heirs of the late Comedy King Dolphy announced that some of the properties listed under the actor’s name will be auctioned to raise funds to complete the projects aimed at honouring the legacy of the comedian who died two years ago.

Among these projects include a Laughter Museum, while some portions of the funds will be given to the actor’s charity, Dolphy Aid for Pinoy Foundation.

Dubbed as The Dolphy Estate Auction, the event will be held live at the Dolphy Theatre in Quezon City; registration opens for the event on January 12, 2015.

Born on July 25, 1928 in Tondo, Manila, the comedy icon died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in 2012. He was 83.
