When Beyoncé debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at last week's MTV Video Music Awards, the Crazy In Love singer shot straight to the top of the Twitter trending charts, as fans went wild for the news of a baby B.
And with a super-proud dad-to-be Jay-Z, and a beyond excited ‘uncle' Kanye West in the audience for her performance of Love on Top, Beyoncé, who has always said she'd have a child when she turned 30, looked to be the girl who truly has it all.
But sources are now whispering that, although Beyoncé is pregnant, that the star used a larger fake baby bump in order to grab more headlines!
"In my 19 years in the music industry, I've seen narcissistic celebrities go to absurd lengths to grab headlines," spilled the Sandra Rose celeb blogsite. "But Beyoncé really took the cake at the MTV Video Music Awards when she showed up on the red carpet with what was obviously a fake baby bump." Adding of a recent picture taken of the star on stage performing in the Big Apple, "Beyoncé was just on stage 10 days ago in New York with no visible baby bump! Now all of a sudden - 10 days later - she shows up at the VMA's with a swollen belly looking like she's six months pregnant?"
And eTalk's Elaine Lui adds of Beyoncé's usual means of shape-control using Spanx, "The stories of B's double Spanxing are legendary. But did you see the size of what she's been Spanxing?"
"She's close to three months along," spilled an industry insider. "She wasn't going to announce it, but she is so excited she couldn't hold it in. Jay is ecstatic and over the moon. He really wanted this so badly."
