An entire nation is behind the England squad going into their crunch match against Slovenia on Wednesday.

UK celebrities have been showing their support at events up and down the country following a poor performance so far from Team England.

Boy band JLS delivered an animated message: “We just want to say a big good luck to all the boys out there in South Africa. We’re supporting you. We are going to the US but we have got our England shirts on. Good luck boys and bring back the trophy.”

Against the backdrop of a giant shocking-pink sofa at a UK festival, The Saturdays backed their international team: “We want to wish the England squad the best of luck in the World Cup. Woo. You go boys.”

Presenter Fearne Cotton looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights as she was put on the spot at a fashion show in London.

“Good luck the England team,” she said uncomfortably. “You can do it. Alright.”

X Factor finalist Olly Murs was one man who had plenty to say. “Bring the World Cup home. Come on boys,” he pleaded. “Please, it’s been a long, long time. Come on England. Do it, for us.”

At the launch of KP Baby, a new range by Katie Price the glamour model had some good advice for the players. “Good luck boys and make sure you strike that ball in the right net.”

Dizzee Rascal said: “Yo, what’s up, what’s happening? This is Dizzee supporting England to the fullest. Good luck boys, we know you can do it. You’ve got the songs there too.”

Even American Nick Jonas was getting into the football fever but was a bit concerned about supporting the US on the mean streets of the UK.

“I’ll be in England to see it. I’ve got all my US gear though,” he said. “I might get beat up in the street but I’ll have to support my team.”
